 FOX ATV MINI Front Shocks

OVERVIEW

Aggressive young mini-quad riders don't believe in the word "impossible" and we created the FLOAT® X to prove them right. Benefiting from the same features as the full-size FLOAT X, the mini-version can be tuned to any riding style, rider weight and track condition. We've given it an infinitely adjustable air spring, progressive spring rate, velocity sensitive damping, adjustable rebound and Low Speed Compression (LSC) adjuster, all the rider has to supply is a little imagination.

LSC

Low Speed Compression

With LSC, you can adjust the overall compression damping rate to dial in bump compliance. The LSC adjuster primarily affects compression damping during slow suspension movements such as G-outs or smooth jump landings.

LSC

LSC Adjustment Range

LSC also affects wheel traction and the harshness or plushness of the vehicle (note that low-speed has nothing to do with the speed of the vehicle). Choose an LSC setting that gives good body control without causing excessive harshness or loss of traction.

Rebound Damping

Rebound damping controls the rate at which the shock returns after it has been compressed. The proper rebound setting is a personal preference, and changes with rider weight, riding style and conditions.

A rule of thumb is that rebound should be as fast as possible without kicking back or feeling bouncy. For slower rebound, turn the rebound adjuster knob clockwise. For faster rebound, turn the rebound adjuster knob counter-clockwise

Notes:

CONCENTRIC COMPRESSION ADJUSTER
With 18 positions of adjustment, our external concentric Compression adjuster offers riders an even more usable range of compression adjustability byfine-tuning the internal damping circuit of the compression cartridge for each application.

VELOCITY SENSITIVE DAMPING CONTROL
One of the most significant components in any shock is its piston and valving...they are the heart of any damper.  Every shock in our line-up utilizes our race-proven “Velocity Sensitive Damping Control” technology. Through the use of different piston flow designs and variable valving specifications, we are able to custom tune each shock for its intended application.

SAMURAI SEALING SYSTEM (SSS)
Working closely with one of the world’s leading seal suppliers, FOX has developed our unique dual-stage “Samurai Sealing System” for use on all FLOAT, FLOAT X and FLOAT X EVOL AirShox. The seals in the SSS are specifically designed from a special low temperature, highly durable material that scraps away snow, ice and debris while simultaneously keeping the seals lubricated for minimal friction.
